VMWare uninstall error 26000

Did a quick search online and found nothing useful on this- If you are having trouble uninstalling VMWare Server 2 from a Vista machine and you got the Error 26000 message, here is the solution:
1. Disable UAC
2. Reboot
3. Uninstall
