I am a technology and business fanatic.  I like gadgets, the web, and how everything tech is changing business and the world in general.

I have a bachelor and a master degree in business.  I am also passionate about technology.  I believe that the pace of technology advancement is drastically changing the business landscape– it is a force that no business can ignore.  Tech is no longer an option in conducting business– when leveraged correctly, it can become a dominant driver in achieving competitive advantage.

The challenge of course, is not in the implementation of tech.  From prior experience, many SMBs suffer from under-investment.  Understandably so, as most business owners do not have the time to keep up with such a rapidly evolving technology landscape– they have a business to run, after all.

It is not uncommon to see small business owners hang tight to their purse strings, thinking that such an investment is frivolous.  But benefits of tech is evident.  Flip open any entrepreneurial mag and all of the featured companies are ones who’ve sown the tech investment seeds and are now enjoying the low-bearing fruits.

Solutions out there are plenty, the primary issue is of course, that a lot of business owners do not even know they have problems.

That’s the reason I started Tekglo, an IT consultancy, and the reason for this blog.
